Obituary for Gale (Boursier) M. Nelson

Gale (Boursier) M. Nelson
Gale (Boursier) Nelson passed away at the age of 48 peacefully surrounded by her loving family October 14, 2015 after a four year battle with ALS which she fought with bravery, dignity and a smile on her face.
Gale was born on December 19, 1966 the daughter of Jane (Sether) Boursier and the late David Boursier.
She spent her entire life in the Stevens Point attending local schools and working within the community.
On September 4th, 1999 her dreams came true when she married the love of her life and her soul mate the late David Nelson.
Her most rewarding job was when her and Dave went into property management. Due to ill health they needed to retire.
She spent 18 months taking care of Dave due to lung cancer.
Gale loved to go “Road Crusin” with Dave, she also enjoyed gardening and especially cooking. We will truly miss those Thanksgiving Dinners.
Her faith and her strength came after she met and talked with the late Fr. Dan Farley and was elevated to a higher level after meeting with Msgr. Burrile.
She is survived by her mother Jane, two sisters Patti (Jim) Oleson Gale’s devoted caregiver, her sister Kathleen (Michael) Gosh Sr. and one brother Kurt Boursier and her faithful canine companion Dora and one step son Justin Nelson.
Gale is further survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Two godsons Gavin Zander and Joseph Radzinski, one goddaughter Amanda Zander and her in-laws.

Gale’s loving husband, infant son Jared, her father and her “Grammy” Irene Sether preceeded her in death.
Per Gale’s wishes, a private burial will take place at a later date.
A celebration of life will be held at the Mission Village Club House (Behind Saint Brons) 3446 Mission Lane Plover on October 17, 2015 from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial found will be established at a later date.
The family would like to express their heart felt appreciation to all the ladies from hospice and C.C.C.W. for their outstanding dedication.
