Obituary for
Vivian J. Pudroski
Vivian J. Pudroski age 90, of Stevens Point passed away Sunday evening February 21, 2016 at Sylvan Crossings where she had been residing under the care of Heartland Hospice.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Vivian will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday March 1, 2016 at St. Peter Catholic Church. Rev. Arul Joseph V will officiate. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until the time of services Tuesday in the St. Faustina Room of St. Peter’s Catholic Church. A Rosary led by the St. Peters Ladies Rosary Society, of which Vivian was a longtime member, will be prayed at 9:45 AM at the church. Private burial will be at a later date at Guardian Angel Cemetery.
Vivian was born November 12, 1925 in Milwaukee, the daughter of Basil and Rose (Kulas) Tessmer. She graduated from South Division High School and began working at Kol-mar Cosmetics. Vivian married Richard Pudroski on October 5, 1946 at St. Peters Catholic Church. The couple settled in Stevens Point and raised their family until moving to Milwaukee in 1956. After Richard retired in 1983, they returned to Stevens Point. She became very active in the Eagles Club, serving as President, and volunteering for many organizations including at the Holly Shoppe and St. Michaels Gift Shop. She enjoyed playing BINGO, crocheting, and sewing.
Vivian is survived by her husband of 69 years Richard, and their 4 children: Darlene (John) Eckhardt, Tillamook, OR; Mark Pudroski, New London; Linda (Patrick) Ford, West Allis; Kevin (Nancy) Pudroski, Plover. 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister and 1 grandson.
