She retired in 1985 from St. Catherines Hospital where she worked with the new born babies. She and her husband moved to Stevens Point in 2014 to be closer to family. Sigrid was an accomplished cook, she enjoyed baking, knitting, crocheting, sewing, gardening, but most of all loved her family and enjoyed time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her 6 children: Jerome Jurksatis, Stevens Point; Sitha Smen, Stevens Point; Allen Leslie, Rosholt; Myrna (Kurt) Duschl, PA; James (Kathryn) Leslie, Stevens Point; Wayne (Gwen) Leslie, FL. 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, with one more expected in August.
