Obituary for Hunter Kopchinski

Hunter passed away in the arms of his father, only to be awakened to his heavenly father. His faith made him who he was. Faith and strength were given as a gift from God. Jesus was so vibrant in this little boy. Through Jesus, Hunter was able to live with a big heart expressing his awesome characteristics.
The generosity showed in his giving heart, especially with toys showing a true value of his core (God blesses us, so we can bless others). A huge Hunter smile showed his joy for the lord just as David danced for the lord. While giving, he also received so much. The appreciation and thankfulness reflected on to the giver.
Strength was the easiest gift to see. He faced death many times without fear, complaining, and still wore a smile. If he did complain, it was because he wanted you to get out of the way, so he could play Fortnite. Hunter didn’t let things get in the way of life.
During his short but well used time, Hunter lived the outdoors life. The grand gift of a sunset on Crystal Lake in Mercer, where he would sometimes enjoy catching big bass, was his favorite place. Pull tabs at the Beaver Lodge, and mostly peaceful experiences in the Northwoods fulfilled his desires. He especially loved his friends and family.
Camping, having fun at moms, swimming at auntie Jens, video games with friends and family, hangin with Kayden, picking on his sister, and we cannot forget dancing, is a shortened list of the many Hunter likes.
Dancing and music were part of his soul. His dancing bones would groove to Lecrae, Tobymac, Newsboys, and many more Christian bands.
Saint Paul Lutheran School loved Hunter and it showed in their action. Even though he is gone, “Hunter Kopchinski Day” will continue in his honor. This school lead to his many friends who never bullied, but always showed their support through cards, words, and affection. It is where his faith matured and poured into the rest of the community.
If you met Hunter, it was not forgotten. He was a boy who smiled and enjoyed the simple things. His last day he whipped and nae naed, cha chaed, and shook his booty. All of this displayed his optimism and belief for healing. While he was healed in a different way, he lives on through happenings of small Godly manifestations.
Many miracles have been seen by beating the odds. Hunter passed away but lived for hours without an oxygen level and no heartbeat. He survived a stroke that was supposed to take him away. His purpose was not done until Jesus called him home with a peaceful last breath and a smile from the joy of walking into a kingdom he was promised since salvation.
We, the family, would like to thank hospice (Janice), Highland Church, Saint Paul Lutheran, and Community Church for the help they offered during these troubling times.
Hunter is welcomed into heaven and joins his beagle dog Charlie, grandmas and grandpas, aunts and uncles.
Many of the family is left behind to mourn. Adam Kopchinski, Stephanie Johnson, Savannah Kopchinski, Jace, Nevaah, Joe, Nyah, grandmas, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Through salvation, Jesus saved Hunter’s life. Through Salvation, Hunter lives. Through salvation, Hunter is carried home.
Always remembered for your love of Jesus, friends, family, and a fight that never gave up.
