Obituary for Neil R Parker

Washed clean by the blood of his Savior, Neil Richard Parker entered heavenly glory on December 9 under the care of Aspirus Hospice House.
A celebration of God’s Grace will be held Saturday, December 16 at Divine Word Lutheran Church 2501 Plover Springs Drive in Plover at 11 a.m. Visitation will be at the church on Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 9-10:45. In lieu of flowers memorials are requested which will support Christian education, Wounded Warriors and cancer patient support services.
Neil was born February 20, 1946 in Aurora Illinois to Reverend Edmond and Mrs Helen Parker. Moving to Milwaukee he completed high school in 1963 and then entered the army. He was honorably discharged in 1966. In 1967, Neil married Ann Raduenz in Watertown, Wisconsin.
Neil’s career was in banking and personal finance. He retired as a personal financial advisor with Ameriprise in 2011. Neil was a tireless worker in his church and community. He enjoyed golfing, the Green Bay Packers and hunting.
He is survived by his wife Ann; his son Aaron and daughter-in-law RaeLyn, his daughter Angela Parker-Jensen and four grandchildren, Lea and Mira Parker and Lola and Luke Jensen. He is further survived by brothers Alan(Beth) of Delaware, Brian (Pyo) of Washington and Philip(BilleSue) of Indiana as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Jean Griffiths and 3 nephews.
