Condolence From: Diane and Harry Rice
Condolence: Dear Rick, Reynold, Lisa and Max, I am at a loss for words. My feelings are so mixed. Part of me is glad that there can be some closure or relief for all of you. The other feels the loss again, like a bandaid being ripped off a partially healed wound. But now the healing can truly begin and for that I am grateful. This has been difficult for all of you and you have been held in prayer by many and will continue to be so for the months to come. I looked at our Italy pictures and Harry and I both were so happy Rick and your mom shared that amazing time. We loved her and we thank you all for sharing her with so many of us. You all have her spirit and her love inside of each of you. We were all blessed by her presence in our lives. Peace to you.

Condolence From: Mary Patoka
Condolence: My condolences to Jean's closest, I first knew Jean when I worked in the Human Services building in Stevens Point in the 1980's. She was one of the most kind and giving people I'd met, with a great laugh and sense of humor too. I always thought the people she served would always remember her for the ways in which she helped them change their lives. I ran into Jean a few years ago in Minocqua - it was beautiful day and she just looked so happy. Lisa, you have always been a mini-Jean! Jean was always so proud of both Lisa and Max -- and she happily told stories about each of you..Richard, I believe part of the reason she looked so happy in Minocqua was because you were part of her life. Mom's are a big deal and I am so sorry you lost yours so early. Take good care of yourselves. Regards, Mary Patoka
