Obituary for Lila Mae Roback

Lila Roback, age 85, of Plover passed away October 18, 2018 after a brief illness.
Funeral services for Lila will be held at 11:00AM Monday October 22, 2018 at the Shuda Plover Funeral Home - 2400 Plover Rd. Plover, WI. Friends and family may gather to share memories from 9:30-10:45AM on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Meehan Cemetery in Plover.
Lila was born May 24, 1933 to Jesse and Etta (Parks) Higgins in Stevens Point, WI. She married James Roback and lived in the Plover area the rest of her life. James preceded her in death.
In between raising 6 children, Lila took a job with Okray Produce where she worked for 25 years. She loved camping, fishing, her flower gardens, crafting and watching her family grow up. She had more than enough love for each and every one. She also really enjoyed the Higgins family reunion where she could visit and reminisce with her brothers and their families.
Lila believed in God and in the power of believing. She gave generously to the Meehan Community Church. Lila had many wonderful friends over the years; she was quick witted and funny and had a really good sense of humor. She will be greatly missed.
In addition to James and her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters Margie Altenburg and Katherine Slack and brothers Jesse, Kenneth, Frank, Gayle, and Gary; grandson Andy Cerrato and great grandson Gunnar Sargent.
Survived by children: Sharon, Charlotte, Lynn, Janice, Brian and Boyd; 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Meehan Cemetery.
