Chris was a lover of Jesus and a pursuer of justice and shalom for all. He was a dedicated husband to Kathy, the best dad ever to Zach (and Laura) Nielsen, Emily (and Hunter) Brocato, Sarah Nielsen, Kate Nielsen (and soon to be husband, Gunnar Sikorski). It was his joy to be "Pops" to his grandson Leo (6).

Chris was proud to be the oldest son of Fran and Dave Nielsen and the son-in-law of Tom and Pat Keating. He was blessed to be the older brother of Kim (and Brian) Eppen, Tom (and Michelle) Nielsen and Jeff Nielsen and uncle to Tommy and Josiah. He also loved every minute of being "Uncle Harry" to Andrew, Ashley, Lauren, Ashley Marie, Miranda, Abby, Tyler, Caroline, Kincaid, and Anna Kate.

He loved spending his days with the medical community of Northfield Hospital and he loved getting home to be with his family, ride his bikes, and figure out life with friends.
He loved to read and listen to podcasts; he wanted to be challenged, learn and transform. He loved sailing, rollerblading and waterskiing; yoga, coffee and healthy food; family selfies, beach walks, and strolls around the city lakes that ended at Sebby J's.

He worked hard and he played even harder.
He cried hard and he laughed even harder.
He was loved and he loved even harder.
His deepest passion was working towards the flourishing of all people. Well done good and faithful servant.

He lived it all. Further up and further in. Eternally.
