Condolences

Condolence From: Carol Moore
Condolence: John was on the interviewing team when I was hired as the Senior Center Director of what is now the Aging and Disability Respurce Center of Portage County. From that role he moved into the role, along with Eva Mae, of mentor and sounding board for "all things" related to the position. What a delight to have their presence on Friday's Get to the Point program when I could meet with them on this and other ongoing programming. John's gift of giving of himself has been an inspiration to me, along with his gentle ways and enduring smile. My condolences to his family. He made a huge imprint in our community.

Condolence From: Denny & Alice Nuckols
Condolence: Our condolences to the family and friends of John! John was a dear friend, mentor, and colleague of mine (Denny). We periodically kept contact after my Sentry days and he always "made a difference" to me during our time together, reminiscing about the 'good old days'. His smile, laugh, and sincerity left an imprint! John made quite an impact on me, and I will remember him and what he stood for for a lifetime. A Life well lived, my friend!

Condolence: I knew John when I worked at the Department on Aging and was a new manager. He was such a gracious friend and mentor. It was over twenty years and I still think of him. I am so sorry for your loss.

Condolence: John and Eva Mae were dear friends. We met in 1958 when we worked together at Hardware Mutuals in Minneapolis. We have so many wonderful memories of John. He was a fun loving person who was truly a gift to know.

Condolence From: Ted Harry
Condolence: We are so sorry for your loss. When this happens in our family we need more than human strength. God and his Son can provide what we need. Please review these scriptures : John 5:28-29 “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment.”
Revelation 21:4 “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”
