Dennis E. (Warner) Helminski died due to COVID-19 at Saint Michael’s Hospital in Stevens Point on Monday October 19, 2020 at the age of 64.
Dennis was born on August 21, 1956 in Stevens Point to the late Mary Jean "Jean" (Warner) and Myron Liebe. Later was adopted by the man he called dad, John "Jake" Helminski.
Dennis attended local schools in Stevens Point. He had various jobs throughout his life ,starting with working for his Grandmother at the Yellow cab company. Later he worked at various farm jobs, from picking pickles to potatoes.
Dennis was a kind and generous individual who always was willing to help others in any way he could.
Dennis in his early years, enjoyed working on cars, watching the Green Bay Packers, watching old movies, and listening to the oldies on the radio.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his brother David, sister Jackie, and all of his grandparents.
He is survived a sister Tammy (Chris) Thromo, Terrace Ocala FL and brother Douglas Helminski Stevens Point. many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
He is further survived by aunts, uncles and many cousins
Per Dennis’s wishes the will be no funeral services and private family burial will be held at a later date.
Family would like to Thank the ICU doctors and nurses at St. Michael’s that cared for Dennis in his last few days.
