Obituary

Ken Sharafinski passed away on January 1, 2021 at his home after battling a number of health issues for many years. He is survived by seven siblings: Pat Ford, Lake Havasu City; Bob (Linda), Stevens Point; Gordon, San Francisco; Karen Miceli, Sacramento; Mary Prioletta, New Berlin; Gary, Neenah; Lynn (Tom) Sankey, Waunakee. Ken is also survived by nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Ken’s parents (Tony and Evelyn Sharafinski), a sister (Janice) and brothers-in-law (Don Ford and Mark Prioletta) preceded him in death.
Ken was a generous person, caring for his mother the last years of her life and serving as a “fix-it” man for friends in need of his mechanical skills. The family would like to thank Lloyd Pionkowski, a loyal friend, whose vigilant care allowed Ken to remain in his home until the time of his death. A celebration of Ken’s life will take place at a later date.

I am so sorry for your loss. Kenny was one of a kind. He was my neighbor, along with his mom, Evelyn, for many years. He was always willing to help and if he couldn’t, he knew someone who could. He always had a joke to tell. He loved his dog, Buster, who played with our dogs, and then he adopted Uggles when his friend, CJ, died. He was dedicated to caring for his “Ma” and did a great service to her until her death.
