Also, a community memorial for those who worked with Cliff and wish to pay respects is scheduled at Skyward on Monday, May 17th from 2:00 – 5:00pm. 2601 Skyward Drive. Stevens Point WI, 54482.
Cliff was born in Stevens Point on July 11, 1954 to Stanley and Helen (Zelewski) King. He grew up in Stevens Point and graduated from Pacelli High School in 1972. After high school, Cliff joined the United States Air Force. He was stationed in Germany. Cliff was always proud to have served his country. Cliff touched the lives of many throughout the years. He was involved in several community organizations over the years and was a proud employee of Skyward for 38 years. Cliff retired from Skyward in December 2018 in order to spend more time with his family and beloved grandchildren – John and Abigail Kramer, and Natalie and Kaelyn King. He loved watching the grandkids’ dance recitals, sporting events, and school programs. Cliff also loved playing golf, was an avid Packer’s fan, and loved boating and spending time on Lake DuBay with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Marlene Simonson.
Cliff will always be remembered for his big smile, his big heart, and his wild golf shorts. He was an incredible husband, father and grandfather.
The family would like to sincerely thank the bystanders, EMS personnel, and the St. Michael’s Hospital emergency room doctors and nurses for all they did. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to the Cliff King Memorial Scholarship Fund. Mail to UW-Stevens Point Foundation, 2100 Main Street, Stevens Point, WI 54481.

Karen and Families,
Kathy and I were so saddened to hear the news about Cliff. You are in our thoughts and prayers at this time. I will always remember Cliff's smile and that distinctive King laugh at our family reunions. May the sadness you feel now be replaced with fond memories of a truly remarkable man.

It was with great sadness to hear of Cliff’s passing. I met Cliff as we integrated the Skyward software into our school district in the early 1980’s. I was also a member of the Wisconsin Software and Service User Group Steering committee for many years and had the privilege to work with Cliff as the liaison to the committee. I had so many positive experiences with Skyward and Cliff stands out as someone who was warm, friendly and always had a smile on his face.
Peace and blessings to his immediate family as well as the Skyward family.

Dear Karen and the entire King Family,

I'm am sad to learn of Cliff's passing. My condolences for your loss.

From the time as a young kid at Uncle Stanley and Aunt Helen's house, to the times at the Log Cabin for deer season, to family reunions, and at my parents anniversary celebrations, Cliff always had a smile and a warm and infectious personality. Men like Cliff will be greatly missed on earth and a joy to see again in heaven.

With sympathy,
Mark Klish
